TWO feuding Limerick families whose attacks on each other have led to the jailing of seven people publicly declared the dispute was over yesterday.

The year long feud between the Collins and Ring families has been the subject of extensive Garda investigations.

At the Collins family home in Ballinacurra Weston yesterday, the warring factions said they wanted the feud to end "before someone is killed".

Both families want gardai to now investigate hate mail which started the row and which they discovered, came from a malicious third party.
