The English FA will wait for the officials' reports from Sunday's Premiership clash between Arsenal and Manchester United before deciding whether to take any action against Fabien Barthez.
Newspaper pictures showed United goalkeeper Barthez apparently making a gesture to the crowd at Highbury after his two late blunders gifted Arsenal a 3-1 win.
"We are waiting reports from the referee [Peter Jones] and other match officials," a FA spokeswoman said today.
