Three suspected explosive devices were found near a bus stop in Co Kildare last night.
The devices were found near the bus stop at Ballinakill, Carbury, Co Kildare at around 7.30pm.
Gardaí said the discovery was made during a planned search of the area.
An Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team was called in after the area was sealed off .
The devices, which were determined to be crude but viable were made safe at the scene and
removed for further examination.
