Navan Mining's gold prospect at Krumovgrad in Bulgaria is producing "exciting results", the company said today.
In its quarterly report today Navan said Krumovgrad is continuing to generate excellent exploration results.
The company also reported continuing progress in the development of its Spanish mining and metallurgical operations.
Increased mining and treatment rates from Spain and Bulgaria production led to an increase in copper production of 26.4 per cent in 2000 compared to 1999; zinc was up 18.8 per cent; lead was up 6.5 per cent and silver was up 37.5 per cent.
