A conference on home life in Ireland to be held next month in Dublin aims to raise awareness of the importance of home.
Organised by Catholic charity Awareness Education Services, Home Life in Ireland Today will focus on the importance of maintaining high standards of home life, and will offer advice on how that can be done.
Speakers will include consultant psychiatrist Justin Brophy, Michael Culloty, national development officer with the Money, Advice and Budgeting Service, and senior counsel Anne Dunne, who will discuss law and the home. Fr Tony Byrne and Sr Kathleen Maguire, founders of the Awareness Education Office, will also speak about addressing conflict in the home.
Sr Maguire said conflict at home was inevitable because people with differences interact constantly in a limited space.
The evening conference will be held in the Regency Hotel, Dublin 9, on Tuesday, September 18th.
