MOSCOW - A Russian diplomat accused of spying for London said he received $2,000 dollars a month plus $7,000 dollars in cash from British intelligence services in an interview broadcast yesterday on NTV television.

Asked whether he considered himself to be a spy, Mr Platon Obukhov replied "of course."
