The Traveller accommodation crisis in Ennis is expected to be eased in the High Court today where Clare County Council, Ennis residents and representatives of a special needs school will agree a court settlement to allow emergency Traveller accommodation in the town.
Last month, the Bishop of Killaloe, Dr Willie Walsh, intervened in the dispute which arose after residents and St Clare's school secured a High Court injunction to prevent the council going ahead with an emergency halting site.
