Students brought before the Dean of Discipline in 2006 were accused of a range of transgressions. Some were serious, most were minor.

They included:

Misuse of e-mail

Anti-social behaviour

Holding loud parties in rooms at night

Scaling the college walls at night

Plagiarism and cheating on exams

Sanctions included:

Bans on parties for individual residents

Fines of up to €127

'Community service' on campus

Letters of apology

Many students brought forward on discipline issues were referred to other college support services for academic support, counselling or other pastoral services
