- one big memory test thats all it is!!!!

- Omigod, irish paper 2 was so hard. nearly started crying when i saw cearrbhach mac caba and nil aon ni on there. i did so bad!

- we r a group of students dat r doin da LC in Libya n we found the exams till now pretty easyyy, but the maths paper1 was kind of awful

- The exams are very inconsistant. Im doing the Junior Cert. Higher English was so easy it was a joke, but Higher Maths P1 was impossible! There should be a more average difficulty in the State exams, not varying difficulty depending on the subject.

- The education and examination system in Ireland is a complete shambles. Most tests, if not all, are memory based. How this is fair on the student who has worked hard all year and struggles to show their true ability in two weeks, I do not know. There are other ways of solving these problems as well as continuous teacher assessment. Ability based tests, as opposed to memory based ones, are successful abroad, and require an understanding of the subject, rather than a word for word regurgitation from a text book.

- jc english paper was easy!! maths was ok 2 one question i tink it was 4c we neva did b4!! n omg d irish aural was sooooo easy i thought i was doin a pass tape n d papaer 1 was gud 2 ! n cspe well dats just an insult to our intelligence...walk n d park!!

- the exam system in ireland is so crazy how are we supposed to put 3 years of work into a few hours....its so stupid...all this preassure is un neccesary and what if something goes wrong on the day..YOU FAIL...

- Have to say English Higher was a lovely paper. And did you hear George Hook did paper one??! If only Kavanagh came up but I had all 4 poets covered so it was a nice choice.

Maths Higher paper one was nice. As for irish paper one! The essays! They were difficult. But the aural was a nice one, my best Ive ever sat I believe.

- The JC Higher Level English Papers went well enough, they were pretty fair. Paper 2 was quite easy however, with questions like What was your favourite character? - very general and easy to answer. Maths Paper 1 was quite challenging, and we hadnt done covered half of Q6!! Irish Paper 1 was OK, the scéal and comhrá were fine, but the comprehension was quite hard. The aural was quite nice as well.

- i tink the state exams are a disgrace. who ever came up with the idea obviously didn sit theirs anyway! why is six yearss of hard work based on one days performance? its so much pressure an stress for young people. but i thought paper one eassy choice was bad. the Juno question on paper 2 was brill and paper 1 of maths was o aswell (both OL)

- Im doing the Leaving Cert at the moment and Ive found the exams not too bad so far,way better than the mocks. A lot of my friends have said the same thing.Its easier for us to revise today than in the past because we have more resources available,the internet,revision books etc. Im actually enjoying the Leaving Cert,something I never thought Id say!
