Open days for art, home economics

The Burren College of Art in Ballyvaughan, Co Clare, holds its open day tomorrow. There will be a presentation talk and tour, an illustrated talk from a visiting artist, a showing of students' work and refreshments. The college offers programmes to Irish and non-Irish students and a two-year foundation programme in fine art which prepares for a diploma or degree programme. Another open day is planned for St Catherine's College of Education for Home Economics, Sion Hill, Blackrock, Co Dublin, on Friday, December 8th.
