Mature Students’ Evening at Athlone Institute of Technology An information evening for mature students is taking place at Athlone Institute of Technology this evening. The event will primarily focus on full-time undergraduate courses for which people must apply to the CAO before February 1st. Virology Lecture at UL

UL presents a lecture by world renowned virologist and pioneer in retrovirology and HIV/Aids, Dr Robert C. Gallo entitled “Viruses, Epidemics and Putting an End to Deadly Diseases in the 21st Century” tomorrow at 7.30pm in the Jean Monnet Lecture Theatre, main building, UL. The lecture is free and open to the public.

Physics Open Evening at UCD

The UCD School of Physics is hosting an open evening for fifth- and sixth-year secondary school students and their parents on Tuesday, January 26th from 6.30pm to 8pm. It will include sample talks on astronomy, space science and theoretical physics, along with careers information and a QA session.
