With the end of the first month of the academic year comes a timely reminder for language teachers from David Barnwell, head of modern languages at Institiuid Teangeolaiochta Eireann. The institute offers a free online resource service to those involved in foreign language teaching and learning in Ireland. "Since coming online," he says, "we have researched and answered a wide range of questions." The service is at http://www.ite.nua.htm.
