An information meeting in Cork tomorrow will deal with European funding available to Open Distance Education through the Socrates programme. The programme aims to promote co-operation between educational institutes in European countries. Organised by Oscail, the National Distance Education Centre, the meeting will be held in Jury's Hotel, Western Road, starting at 2 p.m. On Thursday a further information meeting will be held in Dublin City University, starting at 2.30 p.m.
