Gardai have found 2,600 ecstasy tablets in Co Monaghan. The tablets were found in a black plastic container at Clonoula, Clones earlier today.
The find has an estimated street value of £26,000.
Gardaí seized cannabis and ecstasy at the same site earlier this week.
The site where the ecstasy was discovered is off the main Concession Road between Clones and Belturbet in the Colman's Island salient and only a few hundred feet from the Border with Co Fermanagh.
