Pre-tax profits increased by 82 per cent to £40.1 million sterling.

Revenues were up 35p per cent to £356.9 million.

And passenger numbers were up by 26 per cent to 7.1 million.

The company says the future of air travel in Europe lies with low-cost airlines.
