A cross-party Assembly committee has voted to allow the display of Easter lilies in the foyer of Parliament buildings in Stormont to mark the 1916 Easter rising. Dr Dara O'Hagan, the Sinn Fein member of the committee, welcomed the decision but Mr Jim Wells of the DUP said he was disgusted and would attempt to have it overturned.
