Gardaí are investigating an armed robbery at a post office in Dún Laoghaire this morning.
Two men, armed with what are believed to be firearms, entered the premises on Upper George's Street at around 10.30am today. They threatened staff and left with a sum of money.
It is believed that one thief fled on foot while the other was seen escaping in a dark-coloured car.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses who noticed anything suspicious before or after the robbery.
