Republic of Ireland star Damien Duff came off the bench for his new club Chelsea in their 4-1 Asia Cup defeat of Malaysia today.
The London club won with goals from Frank Lampard, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Eidur Gudjohnsen and new signing Glen Johnson.
Duff came on as a second half substitute and impressed with some slick wing play. He set up Gudjohnsen for his goal with a pinpoint cross.
"Damien showed what we want him to do. He's a very good player, very quick and it was a good cross. There was a good link between my strikers and him," manager Claudio Ranieri said afterwards.
