An anti-racism demonstration will be held in Dublin on Saturday. The Rage Against Racism Carnival coincides with an increase in racism in Ireland, according to the event's organisers, the Anti-Nazi League.

The demonstration will start at the Garden of Remembrance in Parnell Square at 2.30 p.m. and proceed to the Civic Offices Park at Wood Quay where an open-air concert will be held. Performers will include Revelino, Sack, Frances Black, Nick Kelly, Mark Dignam and Glen Hansard.

Among the speakers will be Ms Helen Lewis, who survived the Holocaust, and Dr Mohamed al-Sader from the Centre for Rehabilitation of Torture Survivors in London.
