The new Aviva Stadium and the recently-developed Criminal Courts of Justice building are just two of the buildings that will be featured in the fifth annual Open House Dublin programme.

Almost 100 Dublin buildings of all types and periods will open up their doors from October 7th to 10th for citizens and visitors to explore the architecture of the city, with special tours by hundreds of professionals and enthusiasts free of charge.

Under the programme, whose theme is 'Big, Small, Global', architecture enthusiasts will be able to explore the city across all dimensions from GAA HQ at Croke Park to the Irish Times offices in Tara Street to the Crann research centre at Trinity College.

Speaking at the programme launch, Minster of State Ciarán Cuffe noted that four of this year’s Open House Dublin buildings have also been shortlisted in the World Architecture Awards.
