A 46-year-old Polish national has been charged with dangerous driving causing the death of an off-duty Garda in Co Cork.
Mr Gerard Carey (38) - stationed at Blackrock, Co Cork - died in a crash at Rathcormac last Thursday.
This morning at Fermoy District Court, Mr Janusz Sajdak, of Corrin, Fermoy, was charged in connection with the crash and remanded on bail until December 13th.
