A device exploded outside a branch of the US fast food chain KFC near the centre of the Greek capital today, causing damage but no casualties, police said.
The explosion in the Pangrati district of Athens at 5.05 a.m. (3.05 a.m. Irish time) shattered the restaurant windows and caused other damage, police said.
No group has claimed responsibility for the blast.
