Police in Northern Ireland were tonight investigating reports of an explosion at a Customs post in Enniskillen.

Police in Northern Ireland were tonight investigating reports of an explosion at a Customs post in Enniskillen.

A telephone warning claimed a bomb had been left at Killyhevlin industrial estate. There are no reports of any injuries and damage was said to be minimal.

Police have sealed off the area and a forensic examination will take tomorrow. Meanwhile six miles away in Ballinamallard, police said a security alert had ended after nothing suspicious was found.
