Dublin detectives are seeking the public's assistance in connection the killing of Niall Mulvihill, who was found slumped across the wheel of his car last week.

Mulvihill is understood to have operated front companies and laundered money for criminals; and was known to gardaí.

Detectives are seeking information from anyone who parked in the Spencer Dock Bridge area of Dublin between 9.20 p.m. - 9.30 p.m. on Thursday, January 23rd.

Mulvihill was shot in the area but managed to get in his car before losing consciousness and crashing into traffic on Dorset St.

Gardaí believe he was trying to get to the Mater Hospital for treatment.

Detectives are also appealing for two women to comes forward who were walking towards the city centre along North Wall Quay near New Wapping Street at about 9.15 p.m.
