A security alert in Tobermore, Co Derry, has been declared a hoax.
Police earlier closed off an area of the town following the discovery of a suspicious object on Main Street this morning.
British army technical officers examined the scene and later declared the device a hoax.
A PSNI spokesman said traffic restrictions in the area have now been lifted.
