The Serbian and ethnic Albanian delegates, briefly bridging the gulf dividing them, united yesterday to condemn a bombing in Pristina that killed three people. They said such violence aimed to undermine the negotiations.

At least three people, including a young girl, were killed in the blast at a vegetable store in the capital of Kosovo, and several others were seriously injured.

A French talks spokesman said the two delegations received the news of the bombing "with regret and indignation".
