Dead man walking

MANILA - Mr Isidro Catarla turned up at his own wake last weekend. Reported by his parents and wife to be missing since November 1st, the 30 year old was surprised on coming home to see his family and neighbours mourning beside a coffin containing what they thought was his corpse. A police sergeant said the confusion arose when Mr Catarla's parents and wife claimed the corpse of a drowned man from a funeral parlour thinking it was Mr Catarla.
