The first Old Firm game of the season has been granted a provisional kick-off time of 2.15pm on Sunday, October 6th.

Celtic and Rangers have always clashed at noon on previous Sundays since the infamous game at Parkhead in 1999 when Rangers clinched the Scottish Premier League title.

Referee Hugh Dallas was struck by a coin during the game which the Ibrox side won 3-0.
