Ankara - The planned delivery of advanced Russian-made surface-to-air missiles to Cyprus has been delayed until the autumn following a request by the Cypriot parliament, according to the Russian ambassador to Turkey, Mr Vadim Kuznetsov. The deployment of the controversial missiles had originally been planned for August, and Turkey has threatened to use force to prevent their deployment.
