A cyclist was taken to hospital today with head injuries following a serious collision in Dublin.
The incident happened shortly after 1pm this afternoon and involved three cars and the cyclist.
The cyclist has been transferred to St Vincents hospital.
Merrion Road is currently closed in both directions. Diversions are in place using Ailesbruy Road and Nutley Lane.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area as the Merrion Road is likely to remain closed for a number of hours.
