Customs officers today seized a quantity of cash at Cork airport.
Some €100,000 was found during a routine examination of checked-in luggage belonging to an Irish female who was booked on a flight to the United Kingdom.
The seizure was made under Section 38 of the Criminal Justice Act 1994 as amended by the Proceeds of Crime Amendment Act 2005.
