Seven cars worth €270,000 seized in Garda money laundering investigation

Criminal Assets Bureau carried out search in Blanchardstown motor dealership

Seven vehicles worth collectively about €270,000 were seized by gardaí as part of an investigation into money laundering in west Dublin on Monday.

Gardaí said officers of the Criminal Assets Bureau carried out a search operation at a motor dealership in Blanchardstown.

The operation formed part of an ongoing investigation into money laundering, a Garda spokesman said.

Gardai said that the vehicles seized as part of the operation in Blanchardstown were: A 192 registration Tesla, a 202 registration Audi A4 Avant S Line, a 172 registration BMW 5 Series, 202 registration VW Golf, a 191 registration VW Golf, 172 registration Skoda Superb Sportline and 211 registration VW Tcross.

Gardai said that no arrests had been made and investigations were ongoing.
