A man has died after the van he was driving collided with a ditch and overturned in Kildangan in Co Kildare.
The collision occurred at about 9.30pm on Friday when the 61-year-old driver’s van hit a ditch at Cush on the Athy to Kildangan Road. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body was taken to the morgue at Naas General Hospital and a post mortem is expected to take place on Saturday.
The road is currently closed to facilitate a Forensic Collision examination and diversions are in place.
