LONDON - Two English cricket stars of yesteryear Brian Close and John Emburey told the High Court yesterday that they had never seen Ian Botham tamper with the ball.
"Never Down in Somerset all our pace bowlers were swing bowlers and the only thing we did to the ball was shine it up and use a natural substance sweat which was allowed," said Close.
