Gardaí have arrested a married couple in Cork following the seizure of 3,000 ecstasy tablets.
The husband, in his late 20s, and his wife, who is in her early 30s, were arrested last night in Mallow.
An estimated 3,000 ecstasy tablets with a street value of €30,000 were discovered in a raid at a house in the town.
The couple are being held under section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act and can be detained for up to seven days.
