Campaigners against the Corrib gas project have pledged to continue their opposition after the retirement of Terry Nolan, Shell E&P Ireland managing director, in December.

Shell to Sea spokeswoman Maura Harrington said Mr Nolan joined a long list “whose involvement in the project has been outlived by resistance to its imposition”.
