Two companies making films about the late Martin Cahill, known as the General, are in dispute over copyright, the High Court was told yesterday.

Little Bird Ltd, Merrion Square, Dublin, which is making a film Ordinary Decent Criminal, written by Gerry Stembridge, is taking an action against P.K. Pettiette trading as General Productions, Los Angeles, California, Mr Paul Williams of the Sunday World, Rathfarnham Road, Dublin, and Merlin Films Production Ltd, Upper Pembroke Street. The case was adjourned to tomorrow.
