European pony team bronze medallist Anthony Condon assured his place in the final of the Equestrian World of Maynooth 148 cms championship when winning yesterday's qualifier at the Dublin Horse Show with Mr Polo Bear, completing a family double following his sister Claire and fellow team member's success in Wednesday's qualifier with Bertie Brown.

Condon (16), who led a family one-two the 148 cms novice final in 2002 with his father Michael's Cappagh Supreme, ahead of 15-year-old sister Claire and Bertie Brown, then went on to finish runner-up in the 2002 148 cms championship with the now deceased Another Riot.

Fellow European team bronze medallist, Mark Flynn, also finished in yesterday's line-up when second with Kilcannon Explosion.

Alexander Butler took third, one place ahead of fourth team member Mark McAuley and Shalom Outlaw.
