Books of condolence containing the signatures of 10,000 Irish people were taken to London yesterday to be presented by members of the Irish Peace Train Organisation to the families of the two victims of the IRA bombing of Canary Wharf in February.

Mr Chris Hudson, chairman of the group, emphasised that neither loyalist paramilitaries nor the vast majority of ordinary people committed to peace would tolerate Sinn Fein's presence at all party talks without a ceasefire being in place.
