Bishkek - The Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) has expressed concern at the trial of a leading opposition candidate ahead of presidential elections in Kyrgyzstan in October.
"We would be grateful for and interested in more complete information about the situation concerning the arrest of Felix Kulov," said Ms Margit Wistfelt, a member of an OSCE delegation.
Mr Kulov, a potential challenger to Kyrgyz President Askar Akayev, is standing trial behind closed doors in a military court.
