Billionaire horse owner JP McManus is to be honoured with a civic reception in his native Limerick, following his first Grand National win at Aintree last Saturday.
Mayor of Limerick Kevin Kiely said he hoped a reception would take place within the next month. “This is a tremendous honour for Limerick city and county and we are all very proud that we have an owner/ trainer of the stature of JP McManus,” he added.
