Gardaí investigating the kidnap and murder of Dubliner Ciarán Noonan (29) yesterday arrested a man regarded as the chief suspect in the case.

The victim’s body was found on November 4th in Co Meath. He had been missing since October 20th, when he was last seen on Russell Avenue, East Wall. The latest arrest was made in the north inner city area of Dublin and the suspect, in his 30s, is being detained at Store Street Garda station.
