All-Ireland hurling champions Kilkenny will play county champions Young Ireland of Gowran in the annual GOAL Challenge at Nowlan Park on Wednesday (6pm).

Proceeds from the game will used to expand GOAL's Street Children Programme in Calcutta.

The Kilkenny panel and management team will return to the county this afternoon where they will parade the Liam McCarthy cup through the city in an open top bus.

The senior team are scheduled to arrive with the triumphant minor team in Kilkenny City at 6.10 p.m.

Yesterday's beaten finalists Cork are due to arrive on Leeside at 7 p.m.
