Two men made off with an undisclosed sum of money following a raid at a bank on the High Street in Carrickfergus shortly after 10 a.m. this morning.

A bag containing an amount of money was snatched as a bank delivery was taking place.

Police are seeking a man in his 20s, of medium build, wearing a gray top and jeans, in connection with the robbery.

He escaped in a silver Ford Orion driven by a second man, in the direction of Marine highway.

No one was injured in the raid, and police in Northern Ireland have appealed for witnesses to the incident to contact them.
