A man is to appear in court today in connection with the seizure of 120kg of cannabis resin, worth about £1.2 million, early yesterday. Gardai seized the drugs from a premises in Crumlin, Dublin.

Gardai at Sundrive Garda Station charged the man on two counts under Section 15 of the Misuse of Drugs Act. He will appear in District Court 46 at 10 a.m.

In another incident, which gardai stated was unrelated, 5,000 E tablets were seized with a number of rounds of ammunition in Bunting Park, Crumlin, Dublin. A man is helping gardai with their inquiries at Crumlin Garda Station.
