Huntsville, Texas - Canadian Stanley Faulder, convicted for the 1975 murder of a 75-year-old widow, was put to death last night by lethal injection. UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Mrs Mary Robinson had earlier by letter urged US Secretary of State Ms Madeleine Albright to stop the execution.
