Dublin Corporation have recommended that the Bull Island causeway should be retained, but they have rejected the development of a public golf course on the island.
The causeway at Watermill Road, Clontarf, was designed to improve access to Bull Island. Complaints had been made that sediment was building up and there had been calls for the causeway to be breached.
