An English building worker who locked himself out of his apartment fell 3040 ft to his death from a ladder while trying to climb onto his balcony, Dublin City Coroner's Court heard yesterday.

Ian Capstick (38) of Windmill Lane Apartments, Dublin, and South Shields, Tyne and Wear, died of severe head injuries at Beaumont Hospital on June 12th. The accident happened on June 10th.
