Brothers do battle in hay

Brothers Mr Patrick and Mr William Shanahan of Doon, Co Limerick, won the All Ireland Hay-Making finals at Upperchurch, Co Tipperary, yesterday. Their brothers Dan and Tom, also of Doon, who won the title last year, were third. In second place were the 1995 champions, Mr Ned Buckley and Mr Joe McLoughlin of Co Tipperary. The Ladies' All-Ireland title was won by two Thurles women, Ms Marie Tynan and Ms Mary Ryan.
