NEW to Ireland this very week - not a minute too soon to counteract winter's sudden chill - La Tour du Prevot Reserve, Cotes du Rhone, 1997 (Marks & Spencer, £7.50) is a terrifically rich rendition of all those warm, ripe flavours you associate with the south of France, together with a pinch of herbs and a generous twist of pepper. There's also a Tour du Prevot Cotes du Ventoux in M & S at £6.99, but this one is well worth the extra 51p.
